CoolSculpting®

CoolSculpting® is an FDA-approved treatment that can reduce excess fat in isolated regions of the body without the need for surgery or long periods of downtime. This state-of-the-art body contouring procedure uses Cryolipolysis—a controlled cooling technique which “freezes” targeted fat cells and breaks them down. The body can then gradually filter out the destroyed fat cells through natural metabolic processes, ultimately leading to reduced fat and renewed contour in the areas targeted for fat reduction. Our experienced team here at Luxxery Boutique has helped many candidates for CoolSculpting® avoid more invasive surgery and extensive recovery periods with this non-surgical alternative to liposuction.

“The staff is simply amazing and really care about their patients. After one visit you will feel like family!!!”

Am I a Candidate for CoolSculpting®?

Ideal candidates for CoolSculpting® are typically individuals who have mild to moderate degrees of stubborn excess fat that has collected in isolated regions of the body. CoolSculpting® can be an effective option for many patients who are experiencing excess fat in areas such as:

  • Abdomen
  • Flanks
  • Love handles
  • Inner and outer thighs
  • Back
  • Chest
  • Hips

These are just a few of the many areas for which CoolSculpting® can target isolated areas of excess fat for reduction. Additionally, CoolSculpting® requires no anesthesia, incisions, or needles, and many patients are able to resume their normal daily activities immediately.

Our nurse can meet with you to determine whether you are an ideal candidate for CoolSculpting®. While this treatment can be effective for many individuals, it is important to note that liposuction is often more suitable for patients who have larger and more severe areas of excess fat. If this is the right procedure for your needs, we will develop a personalized treatment plan designed to help you successfully reduce excess fat and rejuvenate your body contours.

CoolSculpting® vs. Liposuction

When it comes to body contouring, both CoolSculpting® and liposuction are two popular choices, but they cater to different needs and preferences, and it is important to understand the distinctions. CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive procedure that uses controlled cooling to “freeze” and gradually break down fat cells from the treatment area. It can be ideal for candidates who would like to address mild to moderate areas affected by stubborn fat pockets without the need for surgery, anesthesia, or excessive downtime. By contrast liposuction requires surgical techniques to suction out excess fat via small incisions. Liposuction offers more immediate and dramatic results, typically making it more suitable for those with larger areas of fat deposits. While CoolSculpting® can often be performed in-office with minimal disruption to daily activities, liposuction requires a longer recovery period. Ultimately, the choice between CoolSculpting® and liposuction depends on your goals, the extent of fat reduction needed, and your tolerance for surgical procedures and recovery time. During the consultation, Dr. Hakki can evaluate your needs and determine whether CoolSculpting® or surgical liposuction offers the best way to accomplish your goals.

What Is Involved in the CoolSculpting® Procedure?

The CoolSculpting® procedure can often be completed in an hour or less, depending on the size and number of areas being targeted for treatment in a single session. The CoolSculpting® device will be carefully placed on the treatment area, where it will deliver the cooling energy into the region. The technique is designed to treat only the targeted area while leaving surrounding tissues unharmed. Patients will feel a cold, and possibly tingling, sensation during the procedure. As the treatment continues, many individuals pass the time by reading a book or simply relaxing throughout the process.

CoolSculpting® is designed to provide gradual fat reduction in the treatment area as the technique relies on the body’s ability to filter out the targeted fat cells over time. With this in mind, the final results of CoolSculpting® may take two to four months to become apparent. Depending on the amount of fat targeted for reduction and the area that is targeted for treatment, it may take multiple CoolSculpting® sessions for optimal results.

Is there a Recovery Period After CoolSculpting®?

One of the major advantages of CoolSculpting® is that it does not usually require a period of recovery. In fact, many patients are able to go right back to their daily routines as soon as the treatment is complete. There will likely be some redness, bruising, numbness, and/or irritation in the treatment areas following the procedure; however, these side effects are normal and should fade over the next several days.

Does CoolSculpting® Hurt?

CoolSculpting® is generally well-tolerated. As the treatment begins, you may feel intense cold, tingling, or slight pulling and pinching sensations in the targeted area. These effects often subside as the area becomes numb during the process. Most patients find CoolSculpting® manageable, especially given its non-invasive nature and the absence of anesthesia. Once the initial effects of the treatment process fade, many individuals are able to relax throughout the rest of the procedure.

How Long Do CoolSculpting® Results Last?

The results of CoolSculpting® can be long-lasting, provided you maintain a stable weight and a healthy lifestyle. Once the fat cells are frozen and naturally eliminated by the body, they do not return. However, remaining fat cells can still expand if you gain weight. With proper diet and exercise to stay healthy and to avoid excessive weight fluctuations over time, CoolSculpting® outcomes can last long into the future.

How Much Does CoolSculpting® Cost?

The cost of a single CoolSculpting® treatment session at our practice typically starts in the $800-$1,000 range. The total price of CoolSculpting® will ultimately depend on unique factors associated with your customized treatment plan, such as the number of CoolSculpting® sessions you will be undergoing, the number and size of the areas being treated, and other components. A member of our team can provide you with a more precise cost estimate once your treatment plan is in place. Luxxery Boutique accepts an array of convenient payment methods. We also work with highly reputable third-party healthcare financing agencies that can provide qualified applicants the ability to pay for their CoolSculpting® treatments over a series of installments.
